Georgian Finance Ministry Publicizes its State Debt to Azerbaijan

Georgia, Tbilisi / corr Trend N.Kirtskhalia / According to the Georgian Finance Ministry, as of 31 May Georgia's state debt to Azerbaijan made up $14,527mln. The aggregate capital of Georgia taken under the state guarantee comprised $1.7bln as of 31 May. The country's state debt constitutes $1,684bln.

Georgia has 15 bilateral creditor-countries and the country owes $536,176mln. These countries are Austria ($2mln), Azerbaijan ($14,527mln), Turkmenistan ($24,427mln), Turkey ($50,596mln), Iran ($11,418mln), Russia ($132,568mln), the United States ($41,358mln), Armenia ($17,66mln), Uzbekistan ($390,000) , Ukraine ($356,000) , Kazakhstan ($27,774mln), Germany ($150,258mln), Japan ($42,979mln), Kuwait ($14,559mln) and the Netherlands ($5,28mln).

Along with these countries, Georgia also owes international organizations the total amount of $1,148bln.
