Azerbaijan, Baku, 11 April / Trend / In July, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) will launch the gas-compressor station in the Gunashli-4 platform which is located in the shallow part of the Gunshali field. After that some 300,000 cu m of casing head gas per day will be collected and pumped to the shore.
The station will enable SOCAR to collect and transport to the shore the gas- which was previously thrown in the air due to lack of adequate facilities. Implementation of the project will have a positive impact on the ecological situation.
The equipment for the station is supplied by German Siemens. Construction and assembling is being carried out by SOCAR's Neftegazstroy Trust.
