Azerbaijani oil and gas equipment could enter Kazakhstan by opening new joint ventures, Kazakh Oil and Gas Minister Sauat Mynbayev said today.
"The equipment could enter the Kazakh market through new joint ventures," Mynbayev said.
He added that the government has recently pursued the policy of increasing Kazakhstan's share in oil and gas projects.
"We know that some companies buy oil and gas equipment from our neighboring Azerbaijan, but as you know we are interested in increasing Kazakhstan's participation, so forming joint ventures is a possible solution," Mynbayev said.
