Azerbaijan exported 255 million tons of oil as of March 1, Vice President of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) Khoshbakht Yusifzade said at the V Caspian Oil and Gas Trading and Transportation Conference on Monday.
Some 150 million tons of this figure fell to exports via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline, he added. More than 55 million tons of oil were exported via the Baku-Supsa pipeline, over 33 million tons via the Baku-Novorossiysk and the remaining 17.7 million tons via the railway.
Yusifzade said Azerbaijan exported 22.2 billion cubic meters of gas, of which 17 billion cubic meters fell to exports via the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas pipeline.
The conference is organized by Confidence Energy, jointly the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy.
