The export of electricity being produced in the Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey energy bridge is expected by early 2013, the head of JSC "Azerenergy" (electricity production and distribution in Azerbaijan) Etibar Pirverdiyev told journalists on Thursday.
Pirverdiyev said the reconstruction of transmission lines in the Azerbaijani territory may be completed as early as January 2012.
At the same time the Georgian side of the project will also begin work which should be completed in May or June next year. However Pirerdiyev said that despite this, given the volume of work envisaged in Georgia, they will not be finished until late 2012.
