Mubarek oil and gas production department of Uzbekneftegaz JSC operating in the country's Kashkadarya region is taking a number of measures to increase oil production, Trend reports referring to Uzbekneftegaz press service.
"The well operation mode was revised, the upper pressure of high-performance wells was reduced to 2-3 atmospheres, and the wells used in the gas-lift operations were checked with starting couplings," the message said.
Following the carried out activities, the oil production rate at Kukdumalok field increased up to five tons per day, and the South Kemachi field also started producing five tons of oil per day.
Earlier, Uzbekneftegaz reported that after the commissioning of the compressor station unit, its Gazli oil and gas production department will produce two million cubic meters of natural gas, 219 tons of liquefied gas and 102 tons of gas condensate per day.
