Azerbaijan reveals Jan. 2021 crude oil exports to Croatia

Azerbaijan exported 187,115 tons of crude oil to Croatia In January 2021, Trend reports with reference to the statistical report of the State Customs Committee (SCC) of Azerbaijan.

According to the committee, the value of crude oil exports to Croatia for the reporting month surpassed $61.8 million.

“During Jan. 2021, Azerbaijan exported over 4 million tons of oil, which is 0.7 percent more compared to Jan. 2020. In total, the volume of oil exports by Azerbaijan over the reporting month amounted to $1.35 billion, a decrease of 30 percent in annual terms. Croatia’s share in the export of crude oil from Azerbaijan amounted to 4.6 percent,” the report reads.

The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Croatia for the reporting month amounted to $61.9 million: exports - $61.8 million, and imports - $130,000.

In 2020, the value of Azerbaijan’s trade turnover with Croatia totaled over $473.2 million. Meanwhile, Azerbaijan’s exports to Croatia amounted to over $470.8 million, and imports – over $2.41 million.
