BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 19. Revenues of Azerbaijan's state oil fund (SOFAZ) from the sale of gas and condensate from the Shah Deniz field from January 1, 2022 to April 1, 2022 are estimated at $359.125 million, including $62.494 million from the sale of condensate, Trend reports referring to the Fund.
SOFAZ's revenues from the sale of gas and condensate from the Shah Deniz field increased by 12.3 times compared to the same period in 2021, when this figure stood at $29.166 million.
The total revenue from the sale of gas and condensate from the Shah Deniz field from 2007 to April 1, 2022 amounted to $4.911 billion.
In 2021, the Shah Deniz field produced around 23 billion standard cubic metres (bscm) of gas and more than 4 million tonnes (around 34 million barrels) of condensate in total from the Shah Deniz Alpha and Shah Deniz Bravo platforms.
The existing Shah Deniz facilities’ production capacity is currently about 72 million standard cubic metres of gas per day or more than 26 bcma.
