BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 2. Azerbaijan exported over 1.1 million tons of oil to Israel from January through May 2022, the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee (SCC) told Trend.
According to the committee, the share of Israel in the overall oil export of Azerbaijan equaled 10.49 percent, and the value of the exported oil amounted to nearly $855.5 million.
In the first five months of this year, Azerbaijan totally exported over 11.3 million tons of oil to international markets, which is 537,470 tons (4.51 percent) less than in 5M2021. In value terms, the oil exports exceeded $8 billion, up by $3.1 billion (63.55 percent) on annual basis.
