BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 23. Azerbaijan exported over 453,801 tons of crude oil and petroleum products to Ireland from January through May 2023, which is 3.98 percent of the total export of raw materials from Azerbaijan, Trend reports.
This indicator increased by 5.15 times (by more than 365,720 tons) on an annual basis.
The value of the export of Azerbaijani oil and petroleum products to Ireland in the specified period amounted to $263.6 million. This is 5.26 times (by $213.5 million) more in comparison with the same period of 2022.
Azerbaijan exported about 11.7 million tons of oil and petroleum products in general from January through May 2023, which is 3.24 percent more in comparison with the same period last year (11.3 million tons).
In value terms, oil exports exceeded $7.2 billion, which is 10.4 percent, or $83.8 million less than in the same period last year.
