Azerbaijan's tax revenues to state budget increase

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Taxes increased the collection of taxes and duties to the state budget by 5.7 percent up to over 5.6 million manat ($3.3 million) from January through September 2019, Trend reports referring to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Taxes.

The plan for collecting taxes and duties to the state budget for the reporting period was executed by 106.4 percent.

Some 70 percent of the revenues accounted for the non-oil sector, while 30 percent - for the oil and gas sector from January through September 2019.

In particular, revenues from the non-oil sector reached over 3.9 million manat ($2.3 million) from January through September 2019, which is 12.6 percent more than in the same period of last year. The forecast has been fulfilled by 110.1 percent.

In accordance with the data of the Ministry of Taxes, the fees for compulsory social insurance amounted to over 2.7 billion manat ($1.6 billion), while those for compulsory unemployment insurance - 73.7 million manat ($43.3 million) from January through September 2019.
