Azerbaijan's Central Bank says country's money supply grows

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Oct. 27

The Money Supply Rate (М2) in Azerbaijan made up 18.4 billion manat ($10.8 billion) as of late September 2020, which is 13.6 percent more compared to the same period of 2019, Trend reports referring to the statistical bulletin of Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).

According to the bank, the amount of Cash Money Supply (M0) increased by 15 percent to 9.9 billion manat ($5.82 billion), Broad Money Supply (M3) grew by 0.9 percent up to 26.7 billion manat ($15.7 billion), and Transaction money (M1) - by 18.1 percent, up to 15.9 billion manat ($9.35 billion).

M3 = M2 + savings deposits, state bonds.
