As of 2020, Azerbaijan’s Bank Respublika’s total liabilities decreased by 28.6 percent compared to the data as of late 2019, Trend reports citing the bank's balance sheet.

In accordance with the report, total liabilities decreased by 381.9 million manat ($224.6 million) to 953.1 million manat ($560.6 million).

In the structure of liabilities, a big share (72.4 percent) accounted for deposits, which decreased for the year by 37.3 percent, amounting to 689.6 million manat ($405.6 million).

At the same time, 54.7 percent accounted for deposits of legal entities, which decreased by twofold up to 377 million manat ($221.8 million). The deposits of individuals accounted for 45.3 percent - 312.6 million manat ($183.9 million) while the growth compared to 2019 reached 2.1 percent.

The liabilities to the credit organizations and other financial institutions increased by 17.3 percent for the year and amounted to 211.2 million manat ($124.2 million).

The deferred tax liabilities amounted to 1.2 million manat ($705,882), remaining unchanged on an annualized basis.

Other liabilities amounted to 18.5 million manat that’s $10.9 million (an increase of 31 percent on an annualized basis).

In accordance with the report, the bank's share capital remained unchanged on an annualized basis and amounted to 73.5 million manat ($43.2 million). Capital reserves amounted to 13.9 million manat which’s $8.2 million (an increase of four percent).

The total capital of Bank Respublika as of 2020 is estimated at 80.9 million manat ($47.6 million), increasing by 3.9 percent.
