Kazakhstan sees increase in pension savings

BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 30

Pension savings of contributors (recipients) amounted to 13.2 trillion ($30.6 billion) as of November 1 in Kazakhstan, having increased by 144.9 billion tenge ($335.4 million), or by 1.1 percent, Trend reports citing the National Bank of Kazakhstan.

The net revenue from investing into pension savings has increased by 125.2 billion tenge ($289.8 million) over October, amounting to 6.7 trillion tenge ($15.6 billion) as of November 1, 2021.

The number of individual pension accounts of contributors for compulsory pension amounted to 10.9 million accounts as of November 1, 2021. The amount of pension payments amounted to 116.9 billion tenge ($270.6 million) in October 2021.

Unified Accumulative Pension Fund (UAPF) carries out its activities strictly within the framework determined by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Fund aims to maintain high standards of corporate governance, regularly publishes information on the state of depositors accounts and its current financial condition in open information sources.
