Azerbaijan, Baku, 14 April / corr. Trend S. Babayeva/ In the first quarter of 2008, the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology of Azerbaijan has granted only one license for postal operations. The license was issued for Kuryer Open Joint Stock Company, the Ministry said.
The company intending to offer communication services in Azerbaijan is required to submit an application which is considered by the special commission of the Ministry. The volume depends on the types of services that the company is to offer. The amount due made up AZN2,500 in the case of Kuryer.
