The Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers approved the regulation of a Research Center for advanced technology at the Communications and IT Ministry. The Centre was established in September 2008. The Center was established for the development of the country's nanotechnology in the field of information technology.
Under the regulation, Centre's staff will be of 23 people.
The Center, which is located in Baku, is a legal person, who has a state property, independent balance, Treasury Account, a round seal and can ink deals independently. The Center has its own current and future work plan, approved by the Ministry and it will at least once to report to the Ministry.
The Centre's staff and management (director, deputy and chief accountant) are approved by Communications and IT Minister.
Financial sources of the center are the Public budget and other sources on the ground of the legislation.
