Azerbaijani Communication and Information Technology Ministry's postal operator Azerpocht has selected winner of the consultant tender to train workers of the head office and postal divisions as a part of the Development of Financial Services project.
Azerbaijan Bank Training Center has been selected winner.
Consulting services will be provided in the field of accounting, internal auditing and international accounting standards, customers services, marketing and creating new products, risk management, banking and financial services, organization of work for IT, human resources planning, recruitment and career development, strategic management, physical and information security.
The project costs $17.5 million; $12.5 is provided by the World Bank as a loan and remaining $5 million by Azerbaijani government.
The project aims to improve opportunities for financial services in rural and small urban centers as well as to promote development and economic growth by creating business infrastructure.
