From September 1, Delta Telecom Company (initial provider) reduces tariffs for Azerbaijani Internet providers to the amount of 110 manat per 1 Mbit compared to current 275 Manat, Deputy Communication Minister, Elmir Velizadeh, said at a meeting of the coordination council on the Internet on August 31.
In its turn, it will reduce tariffs for Internet for ultimate users. Capasity of Delta Telecom's channels is 1.6 Tbit / s
Today, subscribers' costs for high-speed ADSL access vary from 30 manat -1 Mbit / s up to 360 manat - 3072/1024 Kbit/s depending on the chosen tariff plan.
Before, tariffs for the Internet were lowered on Jan. 15, 2009 upon the Tariff Council.
Prices, for putting intra-digital channels (ports) into exploitation at a speed of 2 Mbit/s, were reduced for organizations (excluding budget organizations) from 1,200 to 600 manat (50 percent), and monthly fee for use of these channels - from 320 to 300 manat (6.3 percent) upon the Tariff Council.
