Azerbaijan to attend XI meeting of Coordination Group for Digital Broadcasting

On Sept. 3-4, Astana will host XI meeting of the Coordination Group for Digital Broadcasting (CGDB), the Azerbaijani Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies (MCIT) reported.
According to the MCIT, professionals of the Radio Frequency Department of the Television and Radio Council will represent Azerbaijan at the event.
The main objectives of the meeting are to exchange experiences and plans to apply digital terrestrial television broadcasting, to consider the frequency of the introduction of digital terrestrial television broadcasting (DTTB) subject to radio frequency conversion, as well as to exchange information on the results of the tests in advanced areas of digital broadcasting, etc.
One of the important issues of the agenda will likely focus on the real load radio frequency band 790-862 MHz of radio-electronic means of various radio services in the countries participating in the Regional Commonwealth in the field of communication.
