American Juniper Networks solutions can be used to build infrastructure of mobile operator of Azerbaijan

Azerbaijani IT Computing Company holds talks with Azerbaijani mobile operator Azerfon LLC about the possibility of introducing telecommunications equipment of U.S. manufacturer Juniper Networks, CEO of IT Computing Miraga Nagiyev told Trend.

According to Nagiyev, offered products are aimed at business development of mobile operator.

"One of the spheres of cooperation discussed today with Azerfon Company is the possibility of introducing family products and solutions Juniper Networks, supporting the 3G standards, and subsequently the 4G communication. The possibility of using Juniper Networks solutions in the field of video telephony was also discussed," said Nagiyev.

Earlier this year, Juniper Networks has introduced three new solutions for mobile operators, which are aimed at addressing traffic optimization and simplification of the structure of mobile networks, as well as ensuring a smooth migration from 3G to 4G and LTE-networks.

The first solution - Juniper Traffic Direct will address the problem of rising mobile traffic as smartphones, netbooks and notebooks more widespread. The second solution - Juniper Media Flow optimizes mobile and wireline networks for fast and efficient transmission of video and multimedia data, allowing to achieve television quality when working with smartphones and other mobile devices. The third solution - Juniper Mobile Core Evolution is a secure mobile packet network based on an open infrastructure that allows to deploy chargeable 3G and 4G services within a single network.

As of today, according to Nagieva, negotiations are also conducted with companies Delta Telecom, Azertelekom, Aztelekom and Baku Telephone Communications production units. IT Computing Company also intends to embrace the banking market, delivering a ready-made solutions in the field of information security and network equipment.

The company is preparing to offer players of the telecommunications market in Azerbaijan an opportunity to purchase end telecommunications solutions and equipment on a leasing basis. In the short term, according to Nagiyev, the company prepares to enter the markets of Turkey and Georgia through its partners.
