E-payment system of Azerbaijan - E-Pul will issue its own plastic cards, the company told Trend on Dec.13.
The company reported that the work in this direction is already underway and the public will be informed in detail after the project is launched.
"In general, it is envisaged that the E-pul card will be identical in functionality to the bank card. It will also has e-wallet functionality," the company said.
One can buy cards via the e-pul.az portal. The E-Pul card will be combined with an "electronic purse" that allows registered users to open a virtual account.
Clients will be able to fill their e-wallet accounts through MilliÖN payment terminals. The funds uploaded to a virtual account can be used to purchase goods, pay for services, as well as for money transfers.
