All Turkmen ministries, institutions and facilities have been ordered to introduce an electronic document management system by 2021, Trend reports with reference to the relevant presidential decree.
According to the document, the ministries, sectoral departments and facilities, regardless of the legal form, as well as individual entrepreneurs, are required to ensure the creation of electronic document management systems and websites in the prescribed manner, as well as their implementation and systematic updating.
In accordance with the document, it is prescribed to begin work in March 2020 and put into operation an electronic document management system and websites by January 2021.
The concept of development of the digital economy in Turkmenistan in 2019-2025 is being implemented and the work is underway to digitalize and introduce scientific developments in production.
In November, a unified website of public services e.gov.tm was launched in Turkmenistan, which is an automated single-window information system for providing public services in electronic form for citizens and businesses.
