In connection with the ongoing work on modernization of landline and Сatel type phones, Azerbaijani telecommunication operator, AzerTelecom LLC, provides customers with a Session Initiation Protocol telephone (SIP telephony) service based on Internet Protocol (IP), a source in the company told Trend.
Unlike traditional telephony, this service has the ability to transfer telephone numbers to any address without any additional costs, the source said.
The source in the company added that this service also allows customers to use modern, high-quality and durable communications, adding that the telephone service provided to customers is constantly updated and modernized.
