Azerbaijan produced computers, electronic and optical devices, and electrical equipment in the amount of 66.8 million manat ($39.2 million) from January through April 2020, Trend reports referring to State Statistical Committee.
In the reporting period, the production of computers, electronic and optical devices spiked by 2.6 times, while production of electrical equipment – by 20.6 percent compared to the same period last year.
The production of automatic for regulation and control surged by 11.6 times, while production of electric current wires rated for 1,000 volts – by 3.2 times compared to the same period in 2019.
Last year, the volume of production of computers, electronic and optical devices, and electrical equipment in Azerbaijan reached 276.8 million manat ($162.8 million).
