Revenues of Azercosmos OJSC from the export of satellite and telecommunication services from January through October 2021 exceeded $39 million, Trend reports referring to the "Export Review" of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications of Azerbaijan.
According to the review, the share of export of services in the total revenues of the JSC in the specified period amounted to 91 percent.
Azercosmos in 10M2021 exported satellite and telecommunication services to 41 countries, including the UK, the US, France, Malaysia and the UAE.
The company exported services to 33 countries for $6.7 million in October this year.
Azercosmos OJSC owns two communication satellites - Azerspace-1 and Azerspace-2, as well as Azersky low-orbit satellite.
The income of Azercosmos OJSC from the export of satellite and telecommunication services at the end of last year amounted to $45.1 million, which is four percent more than in 2019.
