BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 30. Azerbaijan produced computer equipment and electronics worth 58 million manat ($34.1 million) from January through April 2022, which is 18.6 percent or 13.3 million manat ($7.8 million) less than the same period in 2021, Trend reports with reference to the report of the State Statistics Committee.
According to the committee, the production of computers, electronic and optical products in Azerbaijan increased in quantitative terms by 12.3 percent from January through April 2022, and electrical equipment - by 60.8 percent compared to the same period in 2021.
The retail trade turnover of these products amounted to 166.7 million manat ($98 million) in the reporting period of 2022, which is 79.8 million manat ($46.9 million) or 91.8 percent more than from January through April 2021.
