As many as 2,763 cargo transportation runs were carried out from Turkey to Belgium by Turkish trucks, which is 5 percent more compared to the same period of 2019, Trend reports referring to Turkey’s International Freight Forwarders Association (UND).
Belgium accounts for 0.6 percent of the total volume of cargo transported from Turkey by trucks over the reporting period, the Association said.
The UND added that 607 cargo transportation runs were carried out from Turkey to Belgium by Turkish trucks in May 2020, which is 4 percent less compared to May 2019.
In the first 5 months, foreign transport by Turkish trucks amounted to 459,738 runs, showing an annual decrease of 11 percent.
In May 2020, foreign transport by Turkish trucks amounted to 89,760 runs, which is 20 percent less compared to May 2019.
