The volume of export of goods by road from Azerbaijan amounted to 885,171 tons from January through August 2020, which is almost 2 percent less compared to the same period of 2019, Trend reports citing a report the State Customs Committee (SCC).
In monetary terms, the export of products by road amounted to $792.2 million, an annual increase of 0.04 percent.
Azerbaijan’s goods export by road for the reporting period totaled $4.8 billion, which is 0.02 percent more compared to the same period of 2019.
Imports of goods by road during the first seven months amounted to over 1.5 million tons, while in terms of money - $4 billion (a decrease of 0.1 percent).
From January through August 2020, overall cargo transportation from Azerbaijan was carried out in the amount of $16.6 billion, which is 27.5 percent less compared to the same period of 2019.
