Cargo movements in Iran’s Noshahr Port down

The volume of cargo loaded and unloaded in the Noshahr port of the Mazandaran Province (northern Iran) decreased by 16.9 percent in the 8th month of the current Iranian year (October 23 through November 21, 2021), compared to the 7th month (September 23 through October 22, 2021), Trend reports via the statistics of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).

According to the statistics, a total of 41,600 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in this port over the reporting month. Of this, 1,550 tons were loaded and 39,700 were unloaded.

About 1,530 tons of cargo were exported and 39,200 tons were imported through the Noshahr port in the 8th month.

As well as 493 tons of cargo were unloaded in the port for transit, and 22 tons were loaded for other purposes.

“So, 33,200 tons of essential products, 2 tons of equipment, vehicles and spare parts, 8,030 tons of leather goods, clothing, fibers, paper, and wood materials, 37 tons of container products were loaded and unloaded in the Noshahr port in the 8th month of the current Iranian year.

As reported, about 11.1 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the eighth month of the current Iranian year. Of this, 5.7 million tons were loaded and 5.4 million tons were unloaded. This is an increase of 13.4 percent, compared to the same month last Iranian year.
