The volume of cargo loaded and unloaded in the Jask port of the Hormozgan Province (southern Iran) decreased by 19.7 percent in the 8th month of the current Iranian year (October 23 through November 21, 2021), compared to the 7th month (September 23 through October 22, 2021), Trend reports via the statistics of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).

According to the statistics, about 23,000 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in this port in the eighth month.

So, 17,200 tons of cargo were exported and 5,810 tons were imported through the Jask port over the 8th month.

“About 17,200 tons of essential products and 5,810 tons of container products were loaded and unloaded in the Jask port in the 8th month of the current Iranian year,” the statistics said.

As reported, about 11.1 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the eighth month of the current Iranian year. Of this, 5.7 million tons were loaded and 5.4 million tons were unloaded. This is an increase of 13.4 percent, compared to the same month last Iranian year.
