BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 16. Kyrgyzstan is interested in attracting direct investment from Kazakhstan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Kazakhstan Dastan Dyushekeyev said during a meeting with Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov, Trend reports citing the press service of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
"We continue to work actively on improving investment and trade policy. Favorable conditions are being created for doing business and protecting entrepreneurs' and investors' rights," the ambassador said.
Dyushekeyev also voiced an offer to ensure food security to meet the mutual interests of the countries. The purpose of the decision is to develop a consolidated policy for reducing the food safety violations in view of foreign market instability.
Following the meeting, the sides expressed their readiness for cooperation on all the discussed issues.
