BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 27. Production volume of gasoline grew in May 2022 in Kazakhstan, Trend reports via the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan.
According to the bureau, this figure amounted to 428,900 tons, up by 39.8 percent in annual terms and 6.3 percent more than in April 2022.
From January through May 2022, production volume of gasoline in the country equaled 2.03 million tons, which is the growth of 10.1 percent compared to the same period last year.
Besides, according to the bureau, in May this year, Kazakhstan imported 186 tons of gasoline, and in the first five months – 437 tons.
A total of 428,700 of gasoline were sold on the local market of the country in May 2022, which is 39.1 percent more than in May 2021 and 6.3 percent more than in April 2022.
Kazakhstan’s local gasoline sales from January through May 2022 amounted to 2.03 million tons, which is 16.5 percent more than in the same period last year.
The country exported 320.1 tons of gasoline in May 2022, added to the bureau.
