BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 23. The volume of oil production in Kazakhstan amounted to 5.8 million tons in July 2022, Trend reports via the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan.

According to the bureau, this figure is 7.3 percent less than in July 2021, but 19.1 percent more than in June 2022.

In the first seven months of this year, oil production in Kazakhstan reached 42.5 million tons, thus remaining unchanged on annual basis.

The country exported 4.6 million tons of oil in July 2022, which is 13.1 percent less than in July 2021, and 22.4 percent less in monthly terms.

Kazakh oil exports amounted to 40.8 million tons from January through July 2022, up by 6.5 percent compared to 7M2021.

The bureau also noted that 1.1 million tons of oil were sold on the domestic market of Kazakhstan in July 2022, which is 26.8 percent more than in July 2021.

The sale of oil in the Kazakh domestic market amounted to 1.7 million tons from January through July 2022, which is 58.9 percent more than the same period last year.
