BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 15. A coupling and rod manufacturing plant construction has been completed in the Mangystau region of Kazakhstan, Trend reports, citing Kazakh media.
The initial production capacity of the new plant is expected to be 150,000 rods and 100,000 couplings per annum. In the future, the output of the plant is expected to reach 350,000 units.
Successful implementation of the project will diversify the goods available in the domestic market, in addition to introducing new types of exports to new territories.
Representatives of the plant confirmed that they already have orders from several Caspian states, with an overall worth of 15.5 billion Kazakh tenge (around $33 million). The commissioning of the plant will create 80 employment opportunities for specialists in several fields.
