BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 11. Kazakhstan's oil and condensate production accounted for 84.2 million tons in 2022, Bulat Aqchulaqov, Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan, said, Trend reports, citing the press service of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.
The statement was made in the framework of the government meeting chaired by the Prime Minister.
Aqchulaqov went on to say that oil production at Tengiz oilfield amounted to 29.2 million tons, while Kashagan and Karachaganak fields produced 12.7 and 11.3 million tons respectively, while oil exports reached 64.3 million tons.
The minister also revealed that gas production in 2022 reached 53.3 billion cubic meters, while 27.8 billion cubic meters of commercial gas were produced.
"Domestic consumption amounted to 19.3 billion cubic meters, and exports reached 4.6 billion cubic meters," he said.
