KazTransOil's subsidiary in Georgia boosts transshipment of Kazakh gas

ASTANA, Kazakhstan, October 26. The total volume of cargo transshipment of Batumi Oil Terminal LLC (100 percent of the participation share belongs to Kazakhstan's national company KazTransOil JSC) and Batumi Seaport LLC (exclusive rights to manage 100 percent shares) amounted to 2.57 million tons from January through September 2023, Trend reports.

Thus, the volume of oil transshipment decreased by 189,000 tons and amounted to 86,000 tons. 961,000 tons of petroleum products were transshipped.

In the reporting period, the volume of transshipment of Kazakh gas increased to 166,000 tons from 135,000 tons registered from January through September 2022.

The volume of dry cargo transshipment amounted to 1.357 million tons, which is 42,000 tons more than the same period in 2022.

KazTransOil JSC directly owns and manages production assets in Georgia through Batumi Oil Terminal LLC (BOT). BOT provides services for transshipment, pumping, storage of oil, petroleum products and gas, as well as their processed products using its own berths, process pipelines and tanks.

The competitive advantage of BOT is its flexibility in storing and transshipping various types of oil and petroleum products (including liquefied petroleum gas).

KazTransOil JSC is the Kazakhstan's national operator of the main oil pipeline. Part of the KazMunayGas JSC (Kazakhstan's national oil and gas company) group. Owns a diversified network of main oil pipelines with a length of 5,400 km.
