Direct Italian investments amount in Kazakhstan discloses

ASTANA, Kazakhstan, January 20. The volume of gross inflow of direct investment from Italy to Kazakhstan amounted to $7.4 billion from 2005 through 9 months of 2023, Trend reports.

At the same time, for 9 months of 2023, the gross inflow of investments amounted to $107.4 million, which is 28.3 percent more than the same period in 2022.

In addition, the volume of net inflow of direct investment from Italy to Kazakhstan has reached $1.3 billion since 2013. For 9 months of 2023, this figure amounted to $73.2 million.

Moreover, the volume of gross outflow of investment from Kazakhstan to Italy from 2013 through 9 months of 2023 amounted to $62 million.

In Kazakhstan, Italian investors are implementing projects in the fields of energy, geological exploration and extraction of natural resources, construction, infrastructure, transportation, communications and agriculture.

Such large Italian companies as Bonatti (oil and gas industry), Cimolai (metal structures), Eni (oil and gas industry and renewable energy sources), Neos (air transportation), Petrol Valves Group (valve production), "Renco" (construction), as well as "Savi Italo" and "Tre-Bio" (agribusiness) operate in Kazakhstan.
