(gazeta.kz) - Kazakhstan's economic growth according to the results of 2006 is going to reach not less than 10%, Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Kazakhstan, said speaking at the VII Congress of the Civil Party of Kazakhstan in Astana, reports Trend.
"2006 has become a successful year for the Kazakhstani economy and I think that we will complete it with the economic growth not less than 10%," - the head of state said.
The President reminded that "if in 1994 the GNP per head in Kazakhstan was $400, in accordance with the budget for 2007, this figure will exceed $6 thousand."
