Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and his Kyrgyz counterpart Almazbek Atambayev, who is running for presidential election in the Republic, discussed economic and trade cooperation between the two countries, Russian Prime Minister's press secretary Dmitry Peskov told reporters, RIA Novosti reported.
"Putin and Atambayev discussed the current aspects of bilateral relations with emphasis on trade and economic cooperation," said Peskov.
Presidential elections in Kyrgyzstan are scheduled for Oct. 30.
