Kyrgyzstan's presidential candidate Kamchibek Tashiev abandoned the idea of holding mass protest actions, CA-NEWS reported.
"I have thought about my next steps for a long period of time. I could also organize protest actions with hundreds thousands voters. But I won't allow new disorders, takeover of government buildings in regions and capital city, including the Government House... I announce my decision not to hold mass protest actions," he said in a statement.
According to him, mass violations took place during the elections, including thousands of voters who could not vote due to inaccurate voter list. He said his office rechecks the voting results.
