Turkmen president pardons over 800 people

Turkmenistan’s President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has signed a decree pardoning 828 Turkmen citizens.
Under the decree, the pardoned people are exempt from further serving their main and additional punishments, the Turkmen government said in a message.
Berdimuhamedov signed the pardon decree in honor of the State Flag Day celebrated Feb. 19.
Local administrations were instructed to take care of the employment of the pardoned citizens.
