Turkmenistan reveals data on execution of state budget

The revenue part of Turkmenistan’s state budget for the first nine months of 2017 was executed by 122.3 percent, while the expenditure part – by 91 percent, said the Turkmen government in a message Oct. 6.

“Salaries of public sector institutions, pensions, state allowances and student scholarships are timely and fully financed,” says the message.

Under the Law on state budget for 2017, adopted by the Turkmen parliament, the state budget revenues will total 103,571.6 million Turkmen manats, and expenditures – 104,871.6 million manats.

The official exchange rate of the Turkmen manat against US dollar has remained unchanged since January 2015 ($1 = 3.5 Turkmen manats).

The revenue part of the state budget will be formed, mainly, thanks to oil and gas, chemical, power and construction industries. Agro-industrial complex, the sphere of transport and communications, textile and food industry will also develop.
