BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 26. Turkmenistan Airlines resumes regular flights to Kazan (Russia) from June 1, and also restores the Ashgabat–Kazan–Ashgabat flight program, Trend reports citing Turkmenportal.
Turkmenistan Airlines will perform the first scheduled flight to the city of Turkmenabat from Kazan on June 1, 2022. The flight will be operated on Wednesdays, departure time from Kazan is 18:30 (GMT+3), arrival at the destination is at 23:30 (GMT+5).
Flights to Ashgabat will be available to passengers from July 1, 2022 according to the following schedule:
- departure from Kazan on Fridays at 10:50 (GMT+3), arrival in Ashgabat at 16:20 (GMT+5);
- departure from Kazan on Sundays at 23:35 (GMT+3), arrival in Ashgabat at 05:05 (GMT+5) the next day.
At the same time, it is known that changes are possible in the schedule.
Furthermore, Tatarstan will become the first and at the initial stage the only region of Russia connected with Turkmenistan by direct regular flights.
Regular flights between Turkmenistan and other countries were discontinued due to COVID-19 in March 2020.
