BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 13. The indicator of Turkmenistan's foreign trade turnover increased by 32.9 percent last year compared to 2021, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Government of Turkmenistan Hojamyrat Geldimyradov at an expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on February 10.
According to him, during the reporting period, production in Turkmenistan increased by 11 percent compared to the 2021 period, and retail trade turnover has grown by 10.8 percent.
Recently, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved the "Program of socio-economic development of the country for 2023", according to which it is planned to increase the growth rate of the country's GDP this year to 6.5 percent.
