BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 10. The Аk pamyk enterprise located in the Lebap region of Turkmenistan exported 333 tons of cotton products from January through February 2023, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
According to the information, during the reporting period, the enterprise exported products worth 987,800 Turkmen manats ($281,900).
In general, in the first two months of this year, Аk pamyk manufactured 463 tons of cotton products worth 1.22 million Turkmen manats ($348,200).
Turkmenistan plans to allocate more than $300 million for the implementation of over 30 projects in the textile industry by 2025.
Major investments will be directed not only to expanding existing capacities but also to creating more than 10 new production facilities based on current enterprises.
