ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, October 21. The Danew district of the Lebap region, located in the east of Turkmenistan, cultivated 2,160 hectares of land with rice, Trend reports.

Consequently, farmers in the Turkmenistan region tactfully announced their plans to grow rice in order to obtain a significant harvest - almost 10,030 tons from their agricultural lands.

Overall, a total of 10,200 hectares of farmland were cultivated in the Lebap region this year, with the aim of reaping approximately 47,400 tons of rice.

To enhance the quality of rice strains, certain varieties imported from Russia underwent examinations the previous year.

Turkmenistan offers focused assistance for the advancement of the agricultural industry. Specifically, there is a comprehensive effort to upgrade and modernize the entire production infrastructure of the agro-industrial complex, foster the growth of the chemical sector, and acquire contemporary tractors, harvesters, and other equipment.
