BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 21. The number of transactions concluded by the Uzbek "Toshkent" Republican Stock Exchange in January, 2022 amounted 7,599, which worth 3 trillion soums ($269.1 million), Trend reports citing the exchange.
During this period, the objects of transactions were 464.72 billion securities of 69 issuers.
In January, 2022, the industry leaders in terms of the volume of transactions were the banking and construction sectors.
The volume of transactions with securities of banking sector amounted to 1.09 trillion soums ($96.6 million), with securities of companies from the construction sector amounted to 1.9 trillion soums ($168.4 million).
The largest number of transactions was made with securities of banks, which amounted to 2,608 transactions.
The smallest number and volume of transactions were recorded with securities of issuers from the transport and social spheres.
