BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 29. The value of imports to Uzbekistan amounted to $19.4 billion from January through August 2022, which is an increase of 22.6 percent compared to the same period last year ($15.8 billion), Trend reports citing the Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
At the same time, imports from the CIS countries amounted to $7.4 billion, and from other countries - $12 billion.
The foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan amounted to $32.1 billion from January through August 2022, which is an increase of 27.7 percent compared to the same period last year ($25.1 billion).
