BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 28. Three main importers of goods and services from Uzbekistan from January through February 2023 were Russia, Türkiye, and China, Trend reports via Uzbekistan’s State Statistics Committee.

According to statistics, the value of exports from Uzbekistan to Russia in the reporting period amounted to $454 million, which is an increase of 30.3 percent, compared to the same period in 2022 ($348.2 million).

Uzbek exports to Türkiye amounted to $222.7 million from January through February 2023, decreasing by 6.3 percent, compared to $237.8 million during the first two months of 2022.

At the same time, exports from Uzbekistan to China decreased by 43.3 percent and amounted to $183.6 million, compared to the figure for the first two months of 2022 ($324.1 million).

Furthermore, Uzbekistan exported to its trade partners goods and services worth $3.1 billion in 2M2023 – a decrease of 23.7 percent, compared to the reporting period in 2022 ($4.1 billion).

Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover from January through February 2023 amounted to $8.9 billion, increasing by 2 percent or $176.4 million, compared to the same period last year ($8.7 billion).
