BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 10. On October 9, Uzbek Foreign Minister Baxtiyor Saidov received the new head of the Afghan diplomatic mission, Abdul Ghafar Terawi, Trend reports.
The parties emphasized the need for comprehensive development of relations between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan, the realization of untapped potential, and the development of new projects that serve the interests of the peoples of the two countries.
Terawi is an ethnic Uzbek; before his appointment as head of the diplomatic mission, he worked as the director of the research department at the Supreme Court of Afghanistan.
